What is WRAP planning?
The Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP) is a self-designed, therapist-guided evidence-based prevention and wellness process that puts the individual in the driver's seat of their own health. By helping people get well, stay well, and build the lives they want, it embodies shared decision making, a foundation of CSC care.

Anatomy of a plan
The seven sections of a WRAP
A WRAP is a living document that you adjust over time as you learn what works best for you. It is built sequentially across several key sections. Select a section to read more.
The foundation of the entire plan: a brainstorming list of simple, safe, often free things you can do to keep yourself well or feel better when things get hard.
Examples include walking the dog, journaling, calling a specific friend, deep breathing, drinking enough water, or listening to upbeat music. Everything in the sections that follow is pulled from this list, so it is worth building it out generously before moving on.
